ASO Tip of the Week: Descriptions matter
But not in a way you think
Here is a recent observation that I've made and that I'd like to share with you.
There is a common understanding that the App Store doesn't factor in descriptions when ranking apps in the App Store search, but Google Play does.
And this is true.
But there is a catch.
Once your app is good enough for Google, it's indexed in Google Search and SEO becomes important.
Like within Google Play, Google uses the app store description to rank the app for keywords in Google Search.

So, in the end, it’s worth putting some extra effort into the description part.
